The Domaine de Montjoie exhibits nearly 200 contemporary works of art on a permanent basis (painting, sculpture, photography, etc.) highlighting many regional and national artists. The works adorn the buildings, the rooms and the park, in order to arouse the curiosity of the traveller.

Most of the exhibited works come from the FACTO Collective, comprising some twenty visual artists from Toulouse, who have decided to come together and pool their ideas and know-how. Their objectives: to be fully in line with the current artistic field, and to establish a bridge between so-called Neoclassical Art and so-called Contemporary Art. Other independent artists have gradually joined the Domaine de Montjoie gallery.

Trained in artistic ironwork as well as artistic and cultural professions, Farid Achezegag naturally turned to sculpture. Nourished by the universe of American comics, mythologies, inspired by César and Palolo Valdès, he chose steel as his favorite material. Pebbles gleaned from the seaside and rivers were quickly added to the latter. His characters made up of multiple pieces are similar to three-dimensional puzzles. Today, he divides his time between his sculptures and the construction of sets for the Capitole theater in Toulouse.
Françoise ANGIBAUD devotes herself to painting after a career in haute couture which has become a second passion for her. Self-taught, she attended workshops in Toulouse: Kraft, Les Artistes Occitans, Atelier M. Coste where she learned figurative art. From her job she keeps the assurance of the gesture, the sense of shapes and volumes. She paints as she speaks, with joy, warmth and spontaneity. Through his paintings, we find his passion, his creative energy and his talent as a colorist.
This triptych of cotton organdy panels was made using the Japanese hand-painted techniques of katazome, tsutsugaki and sugaki. These freehand and resist dyeing techniques involve, among other things, the use of stencils and a cornet to apply a rice paste to the textile before painting in order to trace part of the patterns. "La Fleurée" designates the state in which the indigo pigment of the pastel forms on the surface of the dye tank after stirring.
One fine morning in March 2019, Jean-Louis Capou wakes up wanting to paint. Since self-taught, his "vibratory painting" is born with a palette made up of primary colors. His paintings are executed in acrylic with a knife and / or spatula mostly in the fresh, allowing the viewer to be fully guided in spontaneity by gesture in space and time. Traces, shadows, imprints and juxtaposition of several spaces that fit together and thus give you access to other dimensions. His work is open to any interpretation, to any sensation. And you... What do you see?
Jean-Pierre Fontes gives free rein to his feelings and his thoughts to create unique works that reflect his state of mind at the time. It is the emotions and not the reflection that inhabit his paintings.
Denis Grué, Franco-American artist, was born in 1962. He studied art in a private association of regional artists and industrial design. Graduated from the Saint Gobain-Pont school in Mousson then Sound Engineer - Light Manager. After a few years in a design office and in performing arts, Denis returned to his first loves of drawing and painting. The concept of his paintings is determined by vibrant and primary colors, with curves, lines but also abstract shapes that can resemble abstract and geometric figuration.
Kellestom, painter, graduate of the Beaux-Arts in Paris: the discovery and observation of cities and people around the world constitute a constant source of inspiration. For her, Art is a vector to another dimension, a way to bring out the underlying reality, dormant behind appearances. She likes large formats and collages of matter and she is passionate about light and movement. What fascinates her the most is the energy emanating from the human presence. With her H2O series Isabelle Chapelain tackles the question of transmission, a theme that is very dear to her. From the age of 12, Jack FOURNIER draws and plays with a brush. Around the age of 15, he met a Russian painter Rostislav Loukine who became his master and who advised him to study at the School of Fine Arts in Reims. The bright colors of his palette express his character well. Currently retired, Jack FOURNIER continues his path in Art. Laurent LAFONTAS artistic research has led him to experiment in various fields and with different materials: drawing, modelling, sculpture, video and animated film. As part of an environmental approach, he assembles different metals together and favors the use of recycled materials which are most often the starting point for his creations. Currently, he makes monumental works, the size of which is constantly increasing.
Graduated of the Ecole Boulle, Patricia Louchard worked in several Parisian architecture agencies before founding Imagina design in Toulouse in 1993. In 2013, she left for Montreal for a few months to work with the Ruscio studio agency. Enhance spaces, create plays of light, achieve a subtle marriage of colors and materials, here is the leitmotif that animates his daily life. Valérie Andriantsiferana lives and works in the Toulouse region. For a while as a graphic designer in the press and advertising, she explored drawing and painting techniques in parallel in different workshops.
